Community Guidelines

1. Adults only

Only people aged 18 or older may use Tipsy. All characters and story participants must be, and be portrayed as, adults.

• Any sexual content involving minors, or characters who look, act or are described as minors, is forbidden — including “as a joke”, “in the past” or “in a fantasy world”.
• Breaking this rule leads to immediate account termination and, where required by law, reporting to the authorities.

2. Prohibited content

• Hate and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics.
• Incest.
• Extreme gore and violence, torture for shock value, glorification of real terrorist attacks and mass killings.
• Explicit content involving pregnant or elderly people.
• Sexualization or impersonation of real people, deepfakes.
• Encouraging or giving instructions for self-harm or suicide.
• Illegal content: instructions for making weapons or drugs, hacking, fraud.

3. Respect people

• Don't harass or threaten other users, including in comments.
• Don't share other people's personal data: addresses, phone numbers, documents, photos without consent.
• Don't use Tipsy for spam, unauthorized advertising or scams, including with gems and invite codes.

4. Intellectual property

Only post what you have the rights to. Don't use other people's images, texts, trademarks or copyrighted characters without permission.

5. AI-generated content

Character replies are generated by artificial intelligence. They are fiction: they may be inaccurate and are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

If you are struggling or thinking about self-harm, reach out to people close to you or to your local emergency services.

6. Reporting

In a chat, open the menu and choose “Report”: pick a reason and optionally block the character. Blocked characters and creators disappear from your feed and search. You can also contact us via “Help & feedback”.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate the account. Gems on accounts terminated for violations are not refunded. If you think a decision was a mistake, contact us and we will review it.
